Six County Economic Development District: Economic Development Program – EDA provides an annual federal grant which is used to develop, coordinate and manage a regional economic development program. County coordination of the program is through the Six County Technical Committee.

Utah Small Business Administration (SBA): The SBA provides resources and programs to assist small businesses nationwide. They offer counseling, training, access to capital, and government contracting assistance. Utah Apex Accelerator: The Utah APEX Accelerator’s mission is to help Utah businesses successfully compete in the government marketplace by providing knowledgeable and outstanding customer service. Utah Valley University Business Resource Center: Located in Orem, the UVU Business Resource Center offers counseling, training, and mentoring services to entrepreneurs and small business owners. Suazo Business Center: Suazo Business Center is a CDFI & minority business enterprise resource organization that focuses on the economic empowerment of the minority community through entrepreneurship and workforce development. The Suazo Business Center has been serving the community since 2002 and has assisted in educating, growing, and developing well over 10,000 clients and small businesses. The center has created over 6,000 new small businesses and helped generate billions of dollars in revenues as an investment into Utah’s local economies.
Utah Microloan Fund: Since 1991, the Utah Microloan Fund (formerly Utah Micro-enterprise Loan Fund) has helped hundreds of entrepreneurs make their dreams come true by providing low interest small business loans. Our mission is to empower underserved communities throughout Utah by providing business training and funding to entrepreneurs in startup and existing businesses that do not qualify for traditional funding sources.
Utah Small Business Loan Fund (up to $250K): Funds all types of businesses including software, service businesses, manufacturing, and even restaurants. The only types of businesses they don’t fund are real estate or financing businesses.
Orem City Revolving Loan Fund: The City of Orem offers business loans through a few different options: The Revolving Loan Fund and Utah’s Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy program.
Rural Community Assistance Corporation: RCAC partners with rural and Indigenous communities to achieve their vision and well being through technical assistance, training, financial resources and advocacy.
DreamSpring: DreamSpring is a nonprofit community lender dedicated to eliminating systemic wealth inequities and accelerating the economic inclusion and strength of underserved communities. Founded in 1994, the organization, which operates in 19 states, provides rapid access to capital and customized wrap-around support to the most vulnerable small business owners, focusing on communities including people of color, women, low- to moderate-income earners, people with disabilities, and start-ups.
Rural Employment Development Incentive Grant: The Rural Employment Development Incentive (REDI) grant is designed for businesses creating new high-paying jobs in rural Utah communities. The grant may be available to businesses creating new employment positions in rural counties or in *cities/towns with a population of 10,000 or less in Weber, Davis, Utah, and Washington counties.

Southeastern Utah Economic Development District: The Revolving Loan Fund Program (RLF) is a lending program for start-up businesses and businesses with the desire to expand that are unable to receive financing from traditional lending institutions. Retaining or creating jobs in the community is a criteria for the program.
Six County Association of Governments: The RLF provides “gap financing” in partnership with banks, borrower, and/or other financial resources. This is a long term finance program for new and expanding businesses with finance needs of $20,000 to $250,000. Job creation is a requirement for qualification. Funding resources include EDA, Community Development Block Grant allocations, and a grant from U.S. Rural Development Administration (USRDA).
